FiOS Remote Control Sweetness
If you have FiOS television and haven’t done so, read your FiOS remote control instructions.
Basically, you can program the FiOS remote control to turn off your home theater, television, and set top box with a single press of the power button.
Also, you can setup your FiOS remote control to automatically switch to your home theater to control your volume settings.
Very cool… 
Also, this is not a FiOS remote control tip, but if you’d prefer to only channel surf your favorites with your channel up and channel down button…. it’s possible with your FiOS set top box (STB). Under your STB settings, you can turn this option on and limit your channel surfing to just favorites (look under the favorites settings to enable this feature).
